Social movement leaders are real risktakers–and they face real threats

In countries throughout Europe and the UK, social activists, or risktakers, are stepping in to help during crises when governments fall short. Their ability to work without bureaucratic red tape and with on-the-spot decision-making power has made a real difference during the pandemic and the war against Ukraine. In interviews for The Allianz Foundation Risktaker Pulse, we found that these individuals could be even more successful with more autonomy, support and ability to network more easily.
